VINCENT ROBERTS
Co-Founder
I graduated from the University of Cardiff and completed my professional training in 1980. I went on to work in the multiple, independent, industrial and hospital sector gaining extensive experience before opening a practice in partnership with my wife in 1991. I have taken additional qualifications in diabetic retinal screening, glaucoma referral and minor eye condition management and have been a member of the British Contact Lens Association for many years, fitting a wide variety of contact lenses.
I am currently Chairman of the Birmingham Local Optical Committee and Midland Optical Society.
The practice provides a wide range of supplementary products for eyecare and I am keen to give lifestyle advice to those with chronic and age-related eye problems.
PATRICIA ROBERTS
Co-Founder
I graduated from the University of Wales in 1976 with a B.Ed Hons and taught French in secondary education for seven years. After becoming interested in optics, I trained and qualified as a dispensing optician in 1993.
Always enjoying the entrepreneurial side of business I was enthusiastic to open our own opticians and am always looking at ways to develop and innovate the practice to help maintain the busy, full-time business it is today.

They gave me great service; I have been going there for a long time and recently my eye sight seemed to be deteriorating due to the fact my lenses were damaged, the optician straight away referred me to the city hospital and asked me to call them right after I had been. No other optician would have cared that much for their patient. I was then told to return to the opticians a week later where I'd get glasses prescriped to me. I'm under 18 and I'm full time education so the lenses was free and the designer frames weren't. However, the optician gave me a discount on some glasses. I have been to many opticians and non of them have given me this much care and I feel very welcome every time I come in.

I have been going to this independent optician for 14 years and have always received excellent service. I had some problems with my eyes last year and had to make several unscheduled visits because of my concerns. The optician always found a time to see me and spent a considerable amount of time investigating what the problem was, nothing seemed to be too much trouble at all. When I re-order lenses the service is really prompt, if I ever forget to order and run out of lenses they will always find some to tide me over. The service that the whole team give is second to none and everyone is exceptionally friendly, helpful and reassuring. They also make me feel like a valued customer which I very much appreciate.
